How to clean and protect suede & nubuck
Leather Honey's complete Suede & Nubuck Care Kit has everything you need to clean and protect your delicate suede items, from jackets to boots to handbags and furniture. The kit contains our suede cleaner, our suede protector, a premium horsehair suede brush and a suede eraser.
Directions for use:
1. Spot test both the suede cleaner and suede protector in a discreet area, allowing the test area to dry before proceeding.
2. Using our suede brush, gently brush the surface of the suede to remove loose dirt.
3. Apply our Suede Cleaner to a clean, dry cloth (not directly to your suede). Gently wipe the entire surface of the leather and void spot treating. The cleaner is uniquely formulated to relax the surface tension of suede and nubuck, which allows dirt to easily release. The Suede Cleaner can also be used on smooth leather, rubber, plastic, vinyl and faux leather.
4. Rub any stubborn stains away with our suede eraser. Wipe away excess dirt and cleaner with a clean, dry cloth, then allow suede to dry.
5. Apply a thin coat of Suede Protector. A water-based shield, this advanced protector ensures your item is safe from spills and stains. Allow the suede to dry again naturally.
6. Fluff the nap. Use the suede brush again to fluff and refresh the suede and remove loose dirt as necessary between cleanings.
