Q&A: Cracked and Dirty Car Seats

I just ordered based upon testimonials. Our 10 year leather car seats are cracked and appear to have dirt in the cracks. We have not been able to get them clean with any product we have tried. I have a leather jacket where the collar looks bad from head and neck contact-the same with leather chairs. Does your product clean as well as condition?

Jim, we’re really happy that you took some time to check out our product and read our testimonials – we think they say a lot!  And thanks for reaching out with your question.

Leather Honey has been used with much success on leather car seats for many years, but we always suggest that you clean dirty leather – no matter what item you’re conditioning – before you apply the product.  We recommend using a leather cleaner or other mild soap. Once the item is clean and dry, use Leather Honey to take care of the cracking.  It will moisturize the leather and bring it back to life, plus protect it from mildew and mold.

Thanks again for your message!
