Ideally, Leather Honey Leather Conditioner should be applied using one of our new applicators. However, if you already have a clean paintbrush or lint-free cloth handy, that works as well.
If you have recently used a paintbrush to apply Leather Honey, whether it was to an old sofa, worn boots, or any of your equestrian equipment, and are curious to know if you will be able to clean your brush and use it again, you’re in luck!
Brushes can be cleaned with hot water and liquid dish soap. By rinsing your brush thoroughly with water and soap, you will likely be able to remove any residue that is left on the brush. Use a clean rag or paper towel once you have completed rinsing the brush to remove any additional Leather Honey that may appear on the handle of the brush.
As for that lint-free cloth, we recommend marking it for Leather Honey Leather Conditioner use only. You can store it in a zip-top bag — our version comes with one — and bring it out whenever you need to reapply. There’s no need to clean the cloth between applications. We do not recommend washing the cloth in the washing machine with other clothing.
