Cleaning exotic leather

One quick note first: It's important to follow manufacturer instructions for your leather, and to test any product you apply to your exotic leather in a discreet area, first.

Once you're ready to clean, gently dust off the leather to remove any loose soil or dust. Then, wipe down the exotic leather with leather cleaner, concentrating on the stained or soiled areas. Avoid rubbing, which can be especially harmful on delicate, exotic leather. Instead, use a light touch but concentrate extra time on areas that might be more soiled or stained. Once you've finished cleaning, allow the leather to dry completely.

Our Leather Honey Leather Cleaner is gentle and effective, so you shouldn't have to work hard or scrub the leather to remove stains.

Conditioning exotic leather

Leather conditioning can restore the look and feel of your exotic leather and make it last longer. Leather conditioner will reverse the effects of dryness, including stiff leather and faded areas, and keep exotic leather looking like new. These leathers are expensive, so it's wise to make them last.

Leather Honey Leather Conditioner should be used every six months, starting from when your leather item is brand new. It can protect against stains, as it is water and liquid repellent. To condition your exotic leather, first spot test the leather conditioner in a discreet area, as mentioned above. Once that spot test is dry and you're ready to move forward, put a small amount of leather conditioner onto a lint-free cloth, then gently apply in a thin, even coat to your exotic leather item. Allow the leather to dry for at least two hours (preferably overnight) and then wipe off any excess.

Your leather needs to stay hydrated and leathers of all types need to be moisturized.  This is why Leather Honey is an integral part in caring for your valuable exotic leathers.  Don’t wait until your favorite exotic leather piece begins to crack or fade, because it is never too early to begin treating your exotic leather.

What Our Customers Say

I received my Leather Honey and it exceeded my expectations. Directions were easy to follow. I just cleaned the chair with mild soap and water, let it dry, and then put on the leather honey. What a difference!!! Never thought how leather may be just dried out and need a little TLC. Thanks so much for this product. P.S. I wish I would have taken before and after pics; just too good to be true!"
